Network Maps

You are here: Home - Reference - Network Maps

These maps give analytical data on the major road network of Mainland Britain, using a schematic map to display various bits of useful information.

For the purposes of these maps, dual-carriageway roads which are arguably important to the national network are shown, including most motorways and a number of high-quality all purpose (A-class) roads. All-purpose roads which are shown must have either very few or no junctions which are not grade separated - this means that there must be an overwhelming majority of motorway-style junctions.

The maps were produced in 2002 and are not being regularly maintained. Click a map to see it full size.
