Scheme Outline
Widening of existing M6 to four lanes each way between the new junction 11A where the M6 Toll will merge in and junction 20 for the M56 and Manchester. So far this scheme has been widely criticised as inadequate - by the time works are complete traffic on the M6 is likely to require more than four lanes.
