Scheme Outline
Construction of a new dual-two lane route parallel to the existing A120, from the end of the new section between Stansted and Braintree to the A12 at Marks Tey. The connection at the A12 will probably be a free-flowing interchange. The A12 in the vicinity of the new junction will also receive substantial upgrades including widening work.

- A recent review suggests postponing the scheme until at least 2016.
